The following test equipment is required:
1. Audio signal (sine wave) generator.
2. Accurate frequency counter.
3. Power amplifier (100-200 W) capable of flat power response
below 20 Hz.
4. 1000 ohm resistor (2 watt or greater).
5. Voltmeter (accurate at low voltages).
6. Accurate ohmmeter.
7. Hanging apparatus for suspending the driver in mid air
away from any surface or obstruction.
8. Test box (see information below):

The illustration above shows how to wire the test setup. The signal generator should be plugged into an input of the amplifier. The frequency counter should be connected across the output of the signal generator so it can measure the frequency of the signal. The output of the amplifier should be connected to the driver with the 1000 ohm resistor in series with the positive lead.
